Camerata Tchaikovsky has commissioned ‘On Malvern Hill’ my new orchestral work that celebrates the beauty of the Malvern Hills where I live, inspired by William Langland’s Piers Plowman. The piece has taken different forms - it started as a work for Male Voice Choir, then for cello and piano. It has been thrilling to reinvent it for the strings of Camerata Tchaikovsky.
